Horizon Educational H2GP SA World Qualifier Final

The Horizon H2GP is a wonderful STEM program providing school students the hands-on experience in designing, engineering and racing remote-controlled fuel cell vehicles powered by hydrogen. This brilliant program encourages teaches and promotes the future generation about careers in renewable energy.

On the 10 May, 19 school teams from across regional and metropolitan South Australia came together for the regions first ever H2GP race in Adelaide to race their self-built cars. SA-H2H™ was super excited to be coordinating this program for the state alongside the Horizon Educational team; it certainly was a day full of action!

Congratulations to team 'Thunder Findon' taking home the winner's trophy and booking themselves a ticket to California in September to complete against the best teams from around the world.

SA-H2H™ Co-Founder Nicholas Mumford provided an overview of the new Membership Model launching 1 May 2024, including the introduction of a new membership category, the 'Hydrogen Ecosystem Member'.

This session was open to anyone interested in developing SA's hydrogen ecosystem.
